The base rate is holding at 3.75%, fixed rates are pushing past 4.85%, and there's a time-limited cashback offer worth up to £150 that expires on 8 June.
Two key dates to watch this month: CPI inflation figures drop on 17 June, and the Bank of England meets the following day. Almost nobody is expecting a change, but if inflation comes in hot, the second half of the year gets interesting.

Interest paid at maturity all lands in one tax year — could push you over your Personal Savings Allowance. Monthly or annually paid-away interest spreads the liability.
Rates are competitive but the gap versus easy access and fixed accounts is narrow. Worth noting: these providers rarely change — it's not a competitive market.
Stafford BS 180 Day — 4.26% — top rate. £5,000 minimum. Branch or post only.
Castle Trust Bank 120 Day — 4.20% — £1,000 minimum. Online and app.
Oxbury Bank 90 Day — 4.18% — monthly interest. App-based. No joint accounts.
Oxbury Bank 35 Day — 4.16% — shortest notice period at a competitive rate.
You drip-feed money in monthly, so your average balance across the year is roughly half your total deposits. The headline rate applies to that average — which is why the actual interest earned is lower than it looks.
Zopa — 7.10% — only runs for six months. Total interest if maxed: around £36.
Santander Edge Saver — 6.00% — £4,000 total balance cap, not a monthly deposit limit. Includes a 2.5% variable bonus that drops after 12 months. Requires the Edge current account at £3/month.
First Direct — 7.00% fixed, 12 months — £300/month maximum, no withdrawals, requires their current account. Max out and you'll earn around £136 in interest on £3,600 deposited.
