Outstanding value if you already qualify for Premier. The £600 figure is a non-cash signature experience rather than money paid into the account, but it is still unusually generous. With no monthly fee, Apple TV included and a £500 interest-free overdraft buffer, there is useful ongoing value too.
The biggest barrier is Premier eligibility: you need £75,000 annual income paid in or £100,000 in eligible savings or investments. Add the £4,000 switch deposit, and this is excellent for a narrow audience rather than a broadly accessible deal.

- •Apply for a Premier Current Account (eligibility criteria apply) in the Barclays app.
- •Use your app to complete a full switch, including at least two Direct Debits.
- •Add at least £4,000 to your new Premier Current Account within 30 days of opening it.
- •Barclays will text you when you’ve qualified and their partner, The Marketing Lounge Partnership (MLP), will email you within 35 working days and tell you how to claim your signature experience.
